Family Credit Covid-19 Update

We understand everyone is anxious about the COVID-19 crisis and the effects on our everyday lives. While your debt may not be at the top of your mind right now, we want our clients to know we are working hard to make sure you continue to receive the same level of attention you have come to expect from us. Hopefully, we can give you one less thing to worry about.

We are open for business as usual. We have spent years preparing and testing our “Business Continuity Plan” to prepare for any disaster so we could protect our team while still serving our clients in the event that most of our staff is quarantined and/or unable to come to work.

We are pleased to report that everyone is in good health so far, but we are taking action now to mitigate as much exposure as possible. As concerns have continued to rise, we have implemented the following portions of this plan:

• Staff members who are able to perform their job remotely are currently doing so. We are working daily to increase the number of people who are able to do this.

• Any staff members experiencing symptoms or who believe they have been exposed to the virus are to stay home with full pay.

• In the event of low staffing or the need to close our call center in Rockford, we have the ability to relay calls to employees working remotely and to our corporate offices in Chicago.

During this period, we would appreciate questions be sent via email to clientsupport@familycredit.org whenever possible. We have also added online chat to our website, which will be available during our regular business hours. This will allow our entire team to pitch in to help with your questions while we experience higher call volumes.

We will continue to monitor the situation and take additional precautions. We are proud to have served you for 25 years through many difficult times. We will continue to make you and our employees our top priorities.
